This is what the Minister of Health revealed about the issue of the “availability” of medical supplies in Lebanon

The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Hamad Hassan, confirmed that “all medical supplies are present and in large quantities in Lebanon,” noting that “some have advised importers to stockpile in case the subsidy is lifted.”

In an interview with Al-Jadeed channel, Hassan said that “the Banque du Liban was asked to obtain a record of subsidized medicines, but nothing was delivered to them,” and added: “The citizen is dependent on mafias that do not care about his health.”

Regarding the vaccination marathons, Hassan said: “Every weekend there will be a marathon, and our ambition and greed for the success of the marathon are in all health sectors, and we will have a surprise every week and we have saved 46,000 lives through the Pfizer Vaccine Marathon.”
