Media reports said Wednesday that Chris Paul may not be available to participate with the Phoenix Suns, when the latter begins the Western Region Final series of the “Playoff” NBA, due to the protocols of the Corona virus.
And the sports websites “ESBN” and “The Athletic” stated that Paul faces the possibility of absence for an “indefinite” period as a result of the health safety measures applied in the league, but without specifying whether the 36-year-old was infected with the virus or was in contact with someone Injured.
And “The Athletic” indicated that Paul’s absence from the Suns would not be long if he was vaccinated against the virus. Paul played a key role in qualifying the Suns to the Western Conference final, by stripping the Los Angeles Lakers of the title by eliminating them from the first round, before sweeping the Denver Nuggets 4-0 in the second round of the “Playoff”.
The Suns is waiting to find out the identity of his opponent in the region final, as the Utah Jazz are tied with the Los Angeles Clippers 2-2 in their series, knowing that the team that precedes its opponent to win four out of seven possible matches qualifies for the next round.
