Al-Ahly of Egypt announced that it will receive one million and 400 thousand dollars from the Tunisian Etoile du Sahel and the Ivorian player Souleymane Coulibaly, in addition to annual fines of 15%, as of October 2019, with the obligation of the coastal star to pay the litigation fees.
Al-Ahly published a statement confirming that the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected the appeal submitted by Etoile du Sahel and Coulibaly, the former Al-Ahly player.
The court upheld the decision issued by the International Football Association to compel the coastal star and the player to pay one million and 400 thousand dollars to Al-Ahly Club.
The Ivorian player had escaped from Al-Ahly earlier, despite the continuation of his contract with the club, with untrue allegations. Al-Ahly took all legal measures to preserve its rights, and the Sports Court upheld the ruling issued by the International Federation in his favour.
