Foreign exchange rates increased against the Sudanese pound, on the black market, today, Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
The price of the dollar on the unofficial black market reached 470 pounds.
On the other hand, the dollar exchange rate at the Central Bank of Sudan increased for purchase, recording 433.57 pounds and 436.82 pounds for sale.
Sudan announced the development of an integrated plan to cover the acute shortage of medicines, and to achieve an abundance of medical products for a period of 6 months.
Sudan has been suffering from a large gap in medicines for months, estimated by the Ministry of Health in Khartoum last April at about 60%, due to the government’s inability to provide foreign exchange for importing this vital commodity.
euro and sterling
The price of the European euro at the Central Bank of Sudan reached 525.68 pounds for purchase and 529.62 pounds for sale.
The price of the European currency on the parallel market reached 568 pounds.
The exchange rate of the pound sterling at the Central Bank of Sudan increased, recording 611.61 pounds for purchase and 616.19 pounds for sale.
The exchange rate of the pound sterling on the “black” market reached 658 pounds.
The riyal, the dirham, and the dinar
The price of the Saudi riyal at the Central Bank of Sudan was 115.63 pounds for purchase and 116.50 pounds for sale, and at the parallel “black” market, the price reached 124 pounds.
The price of the Emirati dirham at the Central Bank of Sudan amounted to 118.04 pounds for purchase and 118.93 pounds for sale, and on the black market the Emirati dirham reached 127 pounds.
The price of the Kuwaiti dinar at the Central Bank of Sudan settled at 1439.62 pounds for purchase and 1450.42 pounds for sale.
