The Arab coalition in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, announced this evening, Tuesday, the interception and destruction of a booby-trapped drone launched by the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group towards the city of Khamis Mushait in the south of the Kingdom.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the coalition added, “The Houthi militia’s attempts continue to deliberately target civilians and civilian objects.”

He indicated that his forces are taking operational measures to protect civilians and deal with the imminent threat.

Earlier, the leader of the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, threatened the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen, with attacks if its military operations continued in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has been leading, since March 26, 2015, a military coalition of Arab and Islamic countries, in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, in its quest to restore the capital, Sanaa, and large areas in Yemen, which were seized by the Ansar Allah group in late 2014.

On the other hand, the “Ansar Allah” group carries out attacks with drones, ballistic missiles, and booby-trapped boats, targeting Saudi and Yemeni forces inside Yemen and inside the territory of the Kingdom.
