More than 100,000 people have signed a petition published two weeks ago on Change.org, rejecting the return of Jeff Bezos, founder of the Amazon group Giant of online trading, down to earth.

The signatories demand the founder of the space company “Blue Origin”, and the richest man in the world, according to “Forbes” magazine, to stay in space after his expected space flight on July 20.

The petition, which was published in full on the American “Shang.org” website, stated that “billionaires should not be on this earth or in space. But if they choose space, they should stay there.”

In early June, Bezos announced that he would fly with his brother Mark into space on the first flight of the spaceship “The New Shepard” made by his space company.

The trip comes 15 days after he was due to resign as Amazon CEO.

And the billionaire posted on his account via the “Instagram” application, a post, which was accompanied by a video clip with a thoughtful direction, in which he stated, “Since I was five, I dream of traveling to space. On July 20, I will take this trip with my brother. It is the biggest adventure with my best friend.”

Bezos stated that a third seat had been sold in an online auction to another person for $28 million.

And Blue Origin’s commercial director, Ariane Cornell, said a fourth unnamed tourist will participate in the space flight.

The capsule with large windows, located at the top of the rocket, accommodates six people with reclining seats specially designed to absorb the shock of landing, she explained.Blue Origin“.
