The appeal ruling is in support of the ruling of the Criminal Court, which previously ruled not to convict the officials of the charge against them by the Public Prosecution, which referred them to trial.

According to the Saudi newspaper, Sabq, lawyer Musaad Al-Saleh praised the ruling, stressing that “the rulings are issued by the judiciary according to what reassures him of the conviction or lack of conviction of the court after a careful examination of the evidence before it, and hearing the defense.”
