The holder of this document, which is granted by the Ministry and is registered in its lists as a free worker, can contract with the private and governmental sector and individuals.
The number of documents issued from the platform reached more than 550,000 documents, for more than 500,000 practitioners, including more than 100,000 full-time practitioners. The categories of self-employment currently include many areas such as: “specialized services, directed transportation, productive families, handicrafts, rural development, and food trucks.”
The Ministry seeks, through the program, to achieve a number of objectives for stakeholders in terms of increasing and diversifying suitable job opportunities for citizens, documentation and credibility, and providing basic or additional income.
As for the private sector, contracting with the freelancer provides reducing costs associated with employment, benefiting from specialized national cadres, and accomplishing specific tasks quickly and efficiently. It also enables it to verify the regularity of workers in a manner that preserves the rights of both parties.
While the government objectives are to control quality, manage and develop free services, contribute to supporting the localization of the self-employment sector, motivate its workers, contribute to motivating the private sector to contract with self-employment practitioners, verify the policy holder’s practice of work, and create a database for workers in sector.
