Saudi Arabia: 194,000 registered to donate organs through “Tawakkalna”

This figure reflects the growing human interest on the part of society members towards patients with terminal organic failure, and their sensing of the suffering of this group and its need for someone to open a window of hope for it to end its suffering.
The data of those registered in the program showed closeness in the proportion of women and men, while the number of female donors exceeded 93,000, the number of male donors exceeded 100,000, and the proportion of Saudis was 84% and residents were 16%.
The number of registered persons between the ages of 18 and 30 has exceeded 97,000 young men and women, and this confirms that everyone of all age groups senses the importance of this humanitarian work in saving the lives of patients and giving them the opportunity to live a better life. They follow the leadership’s initiative in this regard and interact with it.
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, had launched the registration service to donate through “Tawakkalna” and the website; The service enables facilitating procedures through simple steps for all willing citizens and residents who meet the conditions, and “Sdaya” added an organ donor logo next to the image of donating users on the application interface, in appreciation of their initiatives.
This cooperation comes as a result of the leadership’s initiative to register in the program; This cooperation aims to spread the culture of organ donation in order to preserve the lives of patients whose salvation, after God’s will, depends on organ transplantation. The Tawakkalna application, thanks to its advanced infrastructure, represents a reliable link between government agencies and their affiliates, within the framework of its contribution to serving beneficiaries in all fields.
By adding services to the “Tawakulna” system and developing it continuously, “Sadaia” works to implement the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, which provides for enabling digital transformation in supporting national initiatives to achieve its goals in community service, as it will contribute The application is to enhance the technical role of the center, and to support its efforts in linking those wishing to donate with those in need of organ transplantation.
