Does weather affect the increase in the number of corona infections in Russia?

He said that the weather on the street does not play a decisive role when the Corona virus is spread by airborne droplets.

And the Russian “TASS” agency quoted the expert as saying that the main way for the spread of Corona virus infection is to transmit it by droplets to others through the air, when in close contact with them over a long period of time. The weather conditions do not play a decisive role when achieving the mentioned method.

It is noteworthy that the Russian media had reported earlier that the extreme heat could have helped increase the number of people infected with the Corona virus. This was quoted by the assistant professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples, Sergey Voznesensky, who indicated that people often gather inside facilities and buildings to escape the heat, as the possibility of infection with the Corona virus increases.
