Last fall, the French automaker unveiled the concept of the electric Megane eVision, which in turn crystallized into the almost ready-to-go Renault Megane E-Tech Electric.
Renault Megane E-Tech Electric, also called the company’s MeganE, is built on the Renault CMF-EV platform.
The car is also equipped with a 160 kW (217 hp) electric motor and a 60 kWh battery, which is expected to cover a distance of up to 450 km using the WLTP protocol.
According to a Renault press release, we are expected to see 30 pre-production cars this summer on European roads, where they will be tested.
It has also already been assembled at a plant in Douai, France, where the Espace, Scenic and Talisman models are produced, and mass production will begin at a later date.
