“The test result of the Prime Minister, who received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 19, was negative this evening,” Castex’s office stated. He added, “However, and being in contact with a confirmed case of infection, he will remain in sanitary isolation for a period of seven days, in accordance with the followed health rules… His agenda has been arranged so that he is able to carry out his obligations from afar.”
As @AlainGriset, millions of our compatriots were eager to return to their halls.

The French official also participated in the cabinet session that was held at the Elysee Palace with almost all members of the government, in a first of its kind since October due to the restrictions that were imposed to limit the spread of the virus.
Castex will be forced to isolate himself for the third time in less than a year, after he isolated himself for the first time in September after having contact with Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme and for the second time in December after contact with President Emmanuel Macron.
And each time, the test results showed that Castex was not infected with the virus. He is scheduled to receive the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine soon, as it has been 11 and a half weeks since he received the first dose, while the French health authorities recommend a period of 12 weeks between the two doses.
