Paris: Spaniard Rafael Nadal reached his fourteenth semi-final at the French Open on Wednesday, despite losing a set to Argentine Diego Schwartzman when he beat him on Wednesday 6 3, 4 6, 6 4, 6 zero.
Nadal, who is seeking his 14th crown at Roland Garros to raise to 21 his grand slam titles (a record), will face the winner of the match between Serbian first seed Novak Djokovic and Italian Matteo Berrettini (9) later today.
The Spaniard and the Serbian will seek to secure a place for them in the final, to face one of the winners of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5) and German Alexander Zverev (6).
