The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that more than half of the adult citizens in the European Union have so far received the first dose of the vaccine against the Corona virus.
Today, Thursday, the German von der Leyen wrote on her official account on Twitter: “To date, more than 50% of adult Europeans have received at least one dose (of the vaccine), and 100 million Europeans have been fully vaccinated.”

We achieved that while never stopping to export.
700 million doses produced, 350 million doses exported to 90 countries.

The President of the European Commission indicated that the Union, in conjunction with the vaccination campaign within its borders, did not stop exporting vaccines to other countries, stressing that 700 million doses were produced on the territory of the European Union, 350 million of which were exported to 90 countries.
Von der Leyen called on other parties in the world to “show openness” in the fight against the pandemic.
