It is reported that when Windows 10 was launched, the company said that it was scheduled to be the final version of the operating system, but as of October 14, 2025, there will be no new updates or security fixes for all versions of the system, according to the BBC website.

Microsoft says that the successor to this system will represent one of the “most important updates” to the operating system in the past decade. The previous version, Windows 7, was discontinued in 2020, although companies can pay Microsoft to continue receiving Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise updates.
