The group explained, according to a statement today, Wednesday, that the center was opened in the Carrefour Jeddah branch of Sulaymaniyah, in cooperation with the company Takeoff American company, which provides advanced technical solutions for the development of electronic retail trade.

The opening of the center today comes within the framework of Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and in the context of its contribution to upgrading the retail sector in the Kingdom, supporting digital transformation and building the electronic infrastructure necessary to raise the sector’s contribution to the national GDP..

The center works on automating the task of managing requests and reducing the time required to process them in half, and it will occupy an area of ​​​​3,000 square meters, and its work team consists of 100 employees, including 5 Saudi female employees whose task is to supervise the management of automated operations.

She added that the center’s capacity reaches two thousand requests per day, and it is transported by 100 refrigerated trucks.

This center is the first among two application preparation centers that adopt these advanced automated technologies, as the second center is scheduled to open in the capital, Riyadh, next year..
