The annual developer conference of the American giant Apple witnessed many surprises that were revealed.

And Apple revealed a new feature called Universal Control that it will introduce on MacBooks that will receive the new Monterey system.

The new feature, announced by Apple at the WWDC21 developer conference, allows for automatic and very fast file transfer between Mac and iPad devices as well.

This means that you can connect iPads with Mac without additional applications, and this feature allows users to use one mouse with three different devices.

This idea is not new at all, as there are more than one external application that performs the same function for Mac and Windows systems.

You will not need to install any additional application on the computer, nor will you need to purchase any special piece to allow this feature to be activated.

You can use the feature after you install the new update on your devices, but not all Monterey devices can use it.

It can be downloaded on MacBook Pro 2016 or later, MacBook 2016 or later, MacBook Air 2018 or later, iMac (2017 or later), iMac 5K starting from 2015, Mac mini after version 2015 2018, iMac Pro, and Mac Pro 2019.

For iPads, these versions are supported by: iPad Pro, iPad Air (3rd generation or later), iPad (6th generation or later), and iPad mini (5th generation or later).
