The American company, SpaceX, launched the heavy transport rocket Falcon-9, carrying the SXM-8 communications satellite for SiriusXM radio, and the company indicated that the launch took place at Cape Canaveral Space Airport in Florida, and after 31 minutes, the satellite was placed in its scheduled orbit.

The company announced, on its Twitter site, that the first stage, which was used in this missile for the third time, landed after separating from the missile on the floating platform in the ocean. This stage was previously used to launch the Crew-1 and Crew-2 spacecraft to the International Space Station.

It is noteworthy that SpaceX had launched in 2020 the SXM-7 satellite for SiriusXM radio, which specializes in broadcasting satellite music and entertainment programs, but a month later it suffered damage in orbit, according to “Novosti”.
