A Buckingham Palace statement said: “The Queen, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted to hear the news of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter.”
“On June 4th, we are blessed by the arrival of our daughter, Lilipt Diana Mountbatten-Windsor (Lee Lee),” Prince Harry and Meghan said in a message posted on the Archewell Foundation – Arche Weil website.
“Lee was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Country Hospital in Santa Barbara, California,” a statement from a spokesperson for the couple, Harry and Meghan, said. The mother and child are healthy and settled at home.”
He added: “Li Li was named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, whose family surname is Lilibit. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, the Princess of Wales.”
Li is the couple’s second child, and they also have a two-year-old son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
