GTA Online will be suspended on PS3 and Xbox 360 in December

While rumors indicate that GTA 6 may reward players with cryptocurrency in some missions, Rockstar Games has decided to discontinue support for GTA Online on the seventh generation Xbox 360 and PS3 next December after it was first available at the end of 2013.

A statement from Rockstar Games on its official website read:

As we continue to move forward with updates and support for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of GTA Online, as well as prepare for the release of new expanded and improved versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online this fall on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 servers from GTA Online, including tracking website stats via Rockstar Games, will be officially closed on December 16, 2021.

The company’s decision includes stopping the sale of Shark Cash cards on the aforementioned devices starting from December 15th, at the same time, these decisions will not have anything to do with the single game mode or the progress of players during its events.

On the other hand, GTA Online will not be the only game from the publisher that will be discontinued in the coming period, but the decision includes Max Payne 3 and LA Noire games on the same platforms previously mentioned, where group competitions and statistics for those titles and leaderboards will be stopped starting from 16 September 2021, while players can still play the Singles events in both titles without issues.

I always look for a good story, perfect script, and exciting plot in any video game, and I don’t mind playing competitive games with innovative and exciting ideas.
