Google’s first foldable phone will be released this year?

Technology-related sites reported that Google is developing a new foldable phone that will compete with Samsung and Huawei devices in the same category.

According to the latest leaks, Samsung has started to manufacture flexible OLED screens that may be used in foldable phones that will be produced by Google, vivo and Xiaomi. The screens for Google will be 7.6 inches, while the Xiaomi phone screens will be 8 inches for the interior, and 6.5 for the external screen.

Expectations indicate that the aforementioned screens will be ready by the first of this year, and the phones that will be supplied with them are supposed to be launched at the end of the year.

The upcoming Google phone is supposed to bear the name “Pixel Fold” and be equipped with the modern Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, eight cores capable of dealing with 5G networks.

This device will also get 12 GB of random access memory, 256 GB of internal storage, and a fingerprint scanner that will be installed on the back end or on one of the edges of its side structure, in addition to containing two cellular SIM slots.

Google will most likely provide it with a 12.7-megapixel front camera, and a front camera with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, in addition to a 4,500 mAh battery that works with fast charging, according to ixbit.
