Working a company Google will expand availability of its Stadia game streaming service to more TVs and streaming devices later this month.

Google has only supported Stadia across the web, phones, tablets, and Chromecast Ultra so far.

Stadia launched with one option for TV playback via Chromecast Ultra, bundled with the joystick in the $100 Stadia Premiere bundle.

The package is still for sale. But Chromecast Ultra was discontinued as a standalone product in September 2020.

The first version of Stadia will be released via Chromecast with Google TV on June 23, more than eight months after the device was launched without official Stadia support.

Along with Chromecast with Google TV, Stadia will also be available across a number of Android TV devices on June 23. Not every Android TV device is supported. But Nvidia’s Shield TV made the list.

Google expands Stadia:

One of the big selling points of cloud gaming services like Stadia is that given that your game is streamed over the Internet, the hardware requirements for graphic-intensive games no longer apply.

و .ليك List Official support:

  • Chromecast with Google TV.
  • Hisense Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G).
  • Nvidia Shield TV.
  • Nvidia Shield TV Pro.
  • Onn FHD Streaming Stick and UHD Streaming Device.
  • Philips 8215 and 8505 OLED 935/805 Series Android TVs.
  • MIBOX3 and MIBOX4 from Xiaomi.

And if you don’t see an Android TV device listed, you may still be able to run Stadia. You can subscribe to Stadia trial support by installing the Stadia app from the Google Play Store and clicking Continue on the subscription screen.

Android TV devices need a compatible Bluetooth controller or Google’s Stadia controller to run Stadia.

Getting Stadia to more devices is a much-needed step for the game streaming platform. The more access to Stadia, the more likely players are to use it.

Bringing the platform to more devices that don’t have the gravity to play popular games locally is a positive step for Stadia and potential gamers who don’t have a modern platform or a dedicated gaming PC.
