European refinery production rises 4% in May

Data from Euro Oil Stock showed, today, Monday, that European refineries produced 8.91 million barrels per day of oil products in May, an increase of 4% over the same month in 2020.

These quantities decreased by 4.1% during last May compared to the quantities recorded in the previous April.

The data indicated that refineries It produced about 2 million barrels per day of gasoline, down 5.7% from April but up 20% compared to May 2020.

The data showed that European refiners’ consumption of crude oil amounted to 8.527 million barrels per day in May, down 4.3% from April, but up 4.2% on an annual basis.
