European Championship .. Czech defeats Scotland with two goals, one of them “legendary”

Glasgow – Reuters
Patrick Shek scored two goals, the second with a stunning shot from 45 metres, to lead the Czechs to a 2-0 victory over Scotland at Hampden Park in the European Football Championship on Monday.
Schech gave the visitors the lead three minutes before the break when he leaped above two defenders to head the ball into the net, but his second goal, seven minutes into the break, may be among the most beautiful in the tournament’s history.
The ball hit one of the Czech players to bounce to Schek, who hinted at goalkeeper David Marshall’s exit from his net, and hit an amazing long-range ball with his left foot into the net.
The Czechs snatched the top spot in Group D from England, who beat Croatia 1-0 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
