Questions arose about the relationship between the delay in taking the second dose of the emerging “Corona” virus and the increase in the proportion of antibodies in the body.

The Saudi Critical Care and Infectious Diseases consultant, Awad Al-Omari, spoke to MBC about the delay in taking the second dose of the Corona vaccine, and does this delay affect the increase in the proportion of antibodies?, according to what was reported by the Saudi newspaper, “Urgent”.
The doctor Al-Omari said: “The basis in the “Corona” pandemic is that medical news changes with the presence of scientific evidence, and I agree with what Dr. And stronger, and this has been scientifically proven in the “Oxford” vaccine.
He added, “I think that delaying the second dose of the vaccine does not do much harm.”
He pointed out that “the world’s governments are faced with difficult choices, due to the lack of vaccinations, and I believe that they followed the right approach by giving the largest possible number of citizens the first dose, and the numbers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are very encouraging.”
Awad stressed that “the most appropriate period between taking the two doses is not yet known, and everything depends on the availability of the vaccine, and the more developed countries that have the good fortune in giving vaccines, due to their financial ability to purchase.”
