The Danish government said today, Thursday, that it will eliminate the use of face masks in most public places, and will allow 25,000 fans to attend the European Championship matches, which will be held in the capital, Copenhagen.
These decisions came after easing the closure restrictions that were applied at the borders, to address the outbreak of the Corona virus.
But the Danish Football Association stressed that it is not ready yet, to attend 25,000 fans during the first match of the Danish team in “Euro 2020”, against Finland next Saturday.
In the group stage of the European Championship, which begins on Friday, Denmark will meet the teams of Finland, Belgium and Russia at home, at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
