The Chalhoub Group, the leading partner of some of the world’s leading brands in the Middle East, revealed its publication of the 2020 Sustainability Report, which includes its sustainable business strategy in Saudi Arabia, among many other new targets. This step came within the framework of an extensive report recently published by the group to highlight its performance in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Building on the Chalhoub Group’s commitment to embodying new concepts of retail rich with luxury experiences available to customers everywhere, the group’s sustainability report outlines ambitious goals that will define the strategy of its operations in Saudi Arabia over the next three years. This includes specific measurable areas of the business model that can be improved annually to enable the Group to make a tangible impact in Saudi Arabia and the region in general.
As a member of the United Nations Global Compact community and a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, the Chalhoub Group’s report stresses the importance of sustainability concepts to its business strategy in the region, and its role in shaping policies that include actionable targets that cover all independent ends. The new strategy and targets are based on 5 main pillars.
