A member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, offered the Islah party a deal that would pressure the leadership of the Saudi regime to stop the trial of Hamas officials detained in it.

Al-Houthi said in a tweet on Twitter that “in exchange for the release of Hamas officials, Sanaa will release Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Mansour Hadi, in addition to two others chosen by the Islah party.”

Yesterday, Al-Houthi renewed, in a tweet via “Twitter”, the offer of the exchange initiative announced by the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, regarding the Palestinians detained by the Saudi regime.

He pointed out that being honored by Hamas was a “great honor” for him, and he intended to dedicate it to the martyrs of Yemen, during the aggression against the country.

Last February, al-Houthi considered that “refusing to exchange prisoners is a crime,” and said: “We demanded the release of the Palestinians detained by the Saudi regime, and we called on the national delegation one day, when discussing with the prisoners of Saudi Arabia or other countries of aggression, to demand the body of the journalist. Saudi Jamal Khashoggi.

The Sana’a government requires the release of Palestinian prisoners in Saudi Arabia in exchange for the release of the Saudi pilots detained by it.

It is noteworthy that the initiative of the leader of Ansar Allah speaks of “full readiness to release one of the captured pilots along with 4 officers and soldiers of the Saudi aggressor, in exchange for the release of the kidnapped members of Hamas.”

Simultaneously, the “Hamas” movement called on the Saudi authorities to urgently release the detainee Muhammad al-Khudari and all Palestinian detainees.

The Saudi authorities arrested al-Khudari, who was responsible for managing the relationship with Riyadh, in September 2019, according to what Hamas announced in a statement, noting that al-Khudari’s age and illness did not intercede for him.

Al-Khudari’s arrest came as part of a campaign of arrests that targeted many Palestinian people residing in Saudi Arabia.
