The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Wednesday, that it has suspended disciplinary measures against Barcelona, ​​Juventus and Real Madrid, after the three clubs attempted to establish a breakaway Super League.

On Wednesday, May 12, UEFA opened an investigation in order to take disciplinary measures against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus due to the attempts to launch the European Super League.

UEFA said in a statement at the time: “Observers from the UEFA Ethics and Discipline Committee have been appointed to initiate disciplinary investigations into the possible breach of the UEFA legal framework by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus in connection with the launch of the project called the Super League.”

Twelve clubs tried to establish the Super League, before 9 of them withdrew, namely: Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Milan, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid, after reaching an agreement with UEFA, with the exception of the trio Real, Barcelona and Juventus.
