The total transactions of Gulf investors in the local financial markets amounted to 7.78 billion dirhams, buying and selling, from the beginning of this year until the end of the first half of this June, according to the figures issued by the markets.
Monitoring the movement of Gulf investors, since the beginning of this year, shows that their total trading in the UAE financial markets has grown by approximately 23.5%, compared to the same period in 2020.
The trades of this important segment of investors accounted for about 2.5% of the total value of trades recorded in the financial markets during the monitoring period.
The value of Gulf investors’ trading in the Dubai Financial Market amounted to 4.558 billion dirhams, buying and selling, from the beginning of the year 2021 until the end of the first half of this June, as their investments were distributed by 2.28 billion dirhams of purchases, compared to sales of 2.168 billion dirhams during the monitoring period.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, the value of Gulf investors’ trading amounted to 3.23 billion dirhams, distributed by approximately 1.494 billion dirhams of purchases, compared to 1.735 billion dirhams.
