The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set the prices of the approved service packages for this year’s Hajj season 1442, and indicated in its circular to the companies of domestic pilgrims that the exceptional circumstances of this year’s Hajj season resulted in the health and regulatory authorities adopting a set of controls, requirements and protocols that will affect the service packages approved for domestic pilgrims, and will also affect On their prices, the ministry this year approved only three service packages.

The Ministry approved the names of the categories and packages as follows:

First: Distinguished hospitality (Abraaj), which was equivalent to the package approved in the past years for the package (Hospitality “1” towers), but it was added to it the costs of applying health requirements, costs of specifications and new fees that affected the price of the package, and accordingly its price was adopted inclusive of transportation from within Makkah Al-Mukarramah and between the holy sites, starting from 16,560 riyals per pilgrim, before adding value-added tax.

Second: Distinguished hospitality (camps), which was equivalent to the package approved in the past years for the package (hospitality “1” camps), but the costs of applying health requirements and costs of specifications and new fees were affected by the package pricing, and accordingly it was approved for its price inclusive of transportation from within Makkah Al-Mukarramah and between the holy sites, to be starting from 14,381 riyals per pilgrim before adding value-added tax.

Third: Hospitality (camps), which was equivalent to the package approved in the past years for a package (hospitality “3” camps), but the costs of applying health requirements and costs of specifications and new fees were affected by the package pricing, and accordingly its price was approved inclusive of transportation from within Makkah Al-Mukarramah. And between the holy sites, starting from 12,113 riyals per pilgrim, before adding value-added tax.

The ministry stressed the companies to take into account that the program for transporting pilgrims included in the basic package for pilgrims includes transport within Makkah Al-Mukarramah and between the holy sites only, and it will be possible for Hajj facilities to offer additional transport programs for pilgrims on the itinerary (round trip) for those coming from outside Makkah Al-Mukarramah, provided that they are optional For them, four centers were identified to receive pilgrims in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and they would be transferred to the Grand Mosque to perform the arrival circumambulation and from there to Mina, in two stages through frequency trips and the provision of frequency transportation service from Mina to the Grand Mosque and back to perform the Ifaadah Tawaf according to the approved program for pilgrims.

The ministry pointed out that the number of pilgrims in one bus has been limited to (20) pilgrims only, and the Hajj facility must appoint a leader for them, and the group of pilgrims in one bus is called an “executive unit.” One group of pilgrims or regiment consists of (100) pilgrims, and five pilgrims transport them. Buses, and a supervisor is appointed by the Hajj facility for each group consisting of five executive units, i.e. five buses, to supervise the leaders of the executive units in those buses.

It was approved for the catering of the pilgrims this year to provide pre-prepared rations meals, and to provide them as individual meals, according to the specifications approved by the competent department in the ministry, and allocating an area of ​​4 square meters for one pilgrim in the hospitality package in Mina camps, in addition to the area of ​​services that was increased over what was approved for it in the years The past, and allocating an area of ​​two square meters in Arafat, other than service spaces, and allocating an area of ​​5.33 square meters for one pilgrim in the distinguished hospitality package in Mina camps, other than the area of ​​services that was increased from what was approved for it in the past years, and allocating an area of ​​5 square meters in Arafat other than service spaces. And allocating an area of ​​4.37 square meters per pilgrim in the distinctive hospitality package in Mina Towers, in addition to the area of ​​services that have been increased from what was approved for them in the past years, and allocating an area of ​​5 square meters in Arafat, other than service spaces.
