1034 talents.. Regional training centers feed clubs with 210 talented players – Saudi News


The Development and Initiatives Department of the Saudi Football Association has concluded the season of regional training centers (2020-2021).The 22 regional training centers witnessed the participation of 1978 talents, of which 1,034 were accepted, as 210 talents moved to clubs, including 117 talents under 14 years old, 59 talents under 17 years old, 31 talents under 12 years old, and 3 talents under 10 years old, from which 20 benefited. Club from different regions of the Kingdom.

For his part, the General Supervisor of the Department of Development and Initiatives, Bandar Al-Ahmadi, thanked all those in charge of the regional training centers for the great effort they made during the past season, wishing the talents that were accepted and transferred to the clubs success in their new experience to be the nucleus of the future of Saudi football.

The regional training centers have a number of people with administrative and technical competence, and are working on refining talents with the approach that the Saudi Football Federation is taking technically, and increasing comprehensive sports awareness, to continue working towards the glory of national football in continental and international forums.

The regional training centers are spread in various regions of the Kingdom with two headquarters in each of Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah, Jeddah, Yanbu and Al-Ahsa, and one headquarters in each of Buraidah, Hail, Sakaka, Tabuk, Taif, Jazan, Sabya, Najran, Dhahran, and Dammam .

It is noteworthy that the initiative of the regional training centers was launched in mid-2019, with the support and follow-up of the Saudi Football Association.
