Tomorrow… The Library of the Future reveals the reasons for the appearance of the giant moon

Several days ago, the world witnessed the phenomenon of the giant blood moon, in which the moon appeared in a size larger than its normal size by up to 14%, and 30% brighter than the regular full moon, which is known as the “super moon”.

On this phenomenon, the reason for its occurrence and the rate of its recurrence, the Future Library is organizing at 6 pm tomorrow, Saturday, May 29, this current, an astronomical evening that monitors the phenomenon of the giant moon, in addition to the most important astronomical events for the current year 2021, which Egypt and the world are witnessing, in cooperation with the Egyptian Society for Astronomy.

Dr. Nabil Helmy, President of the Heliopolis Association, said that the symposium comes within the framework of the current May activities organized by the Heliopolis Association, in all its cultural and creative platforms.

Noting that the symposium in which Eng. Essam Gouda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society for Astronomy and a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, will reveal the astronomical phenomena that affect Egypt and the world, including the partial solar eclipse, meteor showers, the giant moon, the encounter with Jupiter, Saturn and Mars, and the conjunction of the two planets and Saturn) and how observations.
