Health authorities in the United States announced Thursday that Americans who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 no longer need to wear masks in closed places, and they announced that their recommendations have been updated.

“Anyone who has been fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, young or old, without wearing a muzzle or respecting physical distancing,” said Director of the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control, Rochelle Wallinski.

Based on this, US President Joe Biden praised what he described as the “great day” in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, after announcing the abolition of the mandatory wearing of masks for people who were vaccinated in most closed places.

“If you are fully vaccinated, you will no longer need to put the muzzle on,” he said in a brief speech from the White House lawn, adding, “I think it’s a big step, it’s a great day.” The President called on his countrymen who had not yet received the bait to receive it without delay.
