The UAE is the first in the world in the speed of mobile phone networks


The UAE ranked first in the world ranking as the fastest mobile phone network in the world according to the index of “Ookla” (Ocala) for the first quarter of 2021, which is the world leader in testing the speed of fixed broadband and mobile networks and analyzing the speed of downloading and sending data.
The achievement is added to the series of achievements made by the UAE, coinciding with the declaration of 2021 as the fiftieth year in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates.
The speed of downloading data in the UAE on mobile phones reached 178.52 Mbps in March .. The UAE topped the ranking in January, with a download speed of 183.03 Mbps, and February, with a download speed of 177.10 Mbps.
The Speed ​​Test Global Index monitors internet speeds in more than 135 countries around the world on a monthly basis and relies on an accurate analysis of millions of tests that customers perform each month to verify internet speeds.
The speed of the mobile network is one of the most important factors contributing to prosperity, economic prosperity, and social communication in countries.
Such achievements contribute to enabling future innovations, supporting the national agenda in the communications and information technology sector, and raising productivity in the business sector and others.
