The Saudi sports journalist, Adel Al-Tuwaijri died on Saturday, after concluding Friday the last episode of the “League with Walid” program, and commenting on Al-Hilal’s victory against Al-Shabab in the Saudi League competitions.
The Saudi Sports Media Federation mourned on its Twitter account, Adel Al-Tuwaijri, who died as a result of heart failure at the age of 40, according to Al-Riyadh newspaper.

The news of his death sparked grief and interaction among the pioneers of social networking sites, where they launched a hashtag for him entitled “Adel Al-Tuwaijri,” through which they expressed their deep sadness and shock with the news.
He worked as a sports critic in the “Action Ya Dori” program, headed the media center for the Hail Rally, in addition to being a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Al Hilal Club.
Al-Tuwaijri wrote for several newspapers, such as Makkah newspaper, Al Sharq newspaper, and Al Eqtisadiah newspaper.
