Ventilators for Albania to fight Corona … and the fasting fasting person and the Eid cladding with the moon


The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continued distributing Ramadan food baskets in the Republic of Somalia, where, yesterday, 122 tons and 500 kilograms of food baskets were distributed to the needy in the city of Kismayo in Jubaland region, benefiting 7,500 people.

This comes within the framework of the center’s project to secure and distribute food baskets in Somalia during the blessed month of Ramadan 1442.

Dates are the kingdom’s gift to Ghana

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday delivered 50 tons of dates as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Ghana.

The aid was delivered, on behalf of the Center, by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Ambassador to Ghana Meshaal bin Hamdan Al-Roqi, to Ghana’s Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Ambassador Marta Bobby, in the capital, Accra.

The gift comes within the relief and humanitarian programs provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – to a number of brotherly and friendly countries, to reach the most needy families in different regions of the world.

Ventilators for Albania

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday delivered the first batch of medical equipment and supplies provided by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Albania, including 23 respirators, to combat the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).

The aid was delivered, on behalf of the center, by Acting Chargé d’Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Hadithi, in the presence of the Director of Development Programs at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection Matilda Shabani and Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection Albert Nicola, in the capital, Tirana.

Al-Hadithi explained that the King Salman Relief Center relies in its work on constants stemming from lofty goals based on providing aid to the needy and relief for the afflicted anywhere in the world, stressing that these efforts are being undertaken by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince Al-Amin – may God protect them – to confront the Corona virus, in order to strengthen charitable work and extend a helping hand to those affected.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian aid provided by the Kingdom, represented by the center, to brotherly and friendly countries, and in support of international efforts to combat the Corona pandemic.

Republic of the Comoros

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United Republic of the Comoros, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society in the capital, Moroni, implemented its programs for the blessed month of Ramadan, under the supervision of the Chargé d’Affairs, Abd bin Saeed Al Rashid, President of the Red Crescent Society, Hassan Ali Saleh, which included breaking the fast, distributing Eid clothing, and zakat Mushrooms.

The Chargé d’Affairs of the Kingdom’s embassy in the United Republic of the Comoros stressed the Kingdom’s continued support for achieving development and progress in the Republic of the Comoros, through programs that fall within the context of the Kingdom’s interest in humanitarian and relief work in the world.

In his turn, the President of the Red Crescent Society praised the importance of the Kingdom’s role in strengthening and enhancing the culture of popular humanitarian diplomacy in the United Moon, especially in the field of relief, sustainable development and humanitarian aid.
