Russia decided to return to regular flights with five countries at the end of this month.
The Russian government team concerned with combating the outbreak of the new Corona virus said that Russia will return regular flights with Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Malta, Mexico and Portugal, starting from May 25.
The team added that the decision was taken based on the epidemiological situation in those countries and on mutual grounds.
Saudi Airlines announced its readiness to operate flights to 71 out of 95 destinations, including 28 domestic and 43 international ones, equivalent to 80% of the travel map.
Saudi Airlines will resume its flights to 71 destinations, starting from May 17, about 14 months after stopping international travel and restricting domestic travel to prevent Corona.
