French site “Foot Mercato” reported that Real Madrid is planning to sign Ivorian Serge Aurier, Tottenham Hotspur defender, during the transfer period next summer.
Serge Aurier’s contract expires in the summer of 2022 and enters the interest of many European clubs, such as his former team, Paris Saint-Germain.
According to the “Fut Mercato” website, Real Madrid is interested in contracting with Aurier, who is good at playing as a center-back, although his main position is the right-back, next summer, to secure himself from the possibility of the departure of the trio Sergio Ramos, Nacho Hernandez and French Raphael Varane.

And the site added that Aurier would welcome a move to Real Madrid, especially in light of Tottenham’s distance from participating in the Champions League, next season.
Reports indicated that Tottenham had set 12 million euros to abandon Sergey Aurier, but no formal negotiations had begun between the two clubs so far.
The newspaper confirmed that Aurier had spoken with Raphael Varane before, for more information about Real Madrid, and the possibility of joining the royal team.
