The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced yesterday, Saturday, after a meeting of its executive office in Rwanda, that the final match of the current edition of the African Champions League will be held in Morocco.

In his statement, CAF said that the final match of the African Champions League for the 2020-2021 season will be held in Morocco on July 17th, while Benin will host the final of the Confederation Cup, on the tenth of next July.

Last season witnessed the first final of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup in one match, after it was held in a two-match system (back and forth), where Al-Ahly of Egypt managed to win the title of the first continental competition in its favor in Cairo at the expense of its local rival Zamalek, while the team of Nahdet Berkane The Moroccan won the title of the auxiliary competition (Confederation) at the expense of the Egyptian Pyramids, in a match that brought the two teams together in Morocco.
