Liverpool beat Manchester United 4/2, on Thursday, in a postponed match of the 34th stage of the English Premier League.

Liverpool raised its score to 60 points to advance to fifth place, four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, to boost its hopes of qualifying for the next season’s Champions League edition.

And Chelsea had missed the opportunity to resolve its qualification for the same tournament, by losing to its London neighbor Arsenal 1-0 on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Manchester United, who suffered a second consecutive defeat after losing to Leicester on Tuesday 1/2, stuck at 70 points in second place.

Manchester United advanced through Bruno Fernandez in the tenth minute, but Portuguese Diego Guetta equalized for Liverpool in the 34th minute.

In the fourth minute of stoppage time for the first half, Brazilian Roberto Firmino scored the second goal for Liverpool.

In the 57th minute, the same player returned to add the third goal for Liverpool, but Marcus Rashford scored the goal to reduce the difference for Manchester United in the 69th minute.

In the last minute of the match’s normal time, Mohamed Salah added the fourth goal for Liverpool.
