Manchester United advanced through Bruno Fernandez in the tenth minute, but Portuguese Diego Guetta equalized for Liverpool in the 34th minute.
In the fourth minute of stoppage time for the first half, Brazilian Roberto Firmino scored the second goal for Liverpool.
In the 57th minute, the same player returned to add the third goal for Liverpool, but Marcus Rashford scored the goal to reduce the difference for Manchester United in the 69th minute.
