The Saudi National Science and Engineering Team Projects Exhibition has been launched to showcase the innovations of 30 students from the Kingdom who participate in the Regenerin International Science and Engineering Fair 2021, which is being held virtually in America, and compete with students from 80 countries.
The King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity called on everyone to enter the exhibition website to view these projects and innovations that the Kingdom’s students who were trained in Mawhiba in partnership with the Ministry of Education will compete with students from different countries of the world to win the 2021 ISEF exhibition.
The King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity announced its sponsorship of the energy field, at the Regeneron ISEF 2021 International Science and Engineering Fair, and the winning projects in the fields of sustainable materials and design, as well as presenting a major prize at the World Exposition.
Mawhiba stated that it will present major prizes and sponsorship for the first-placed holders for the best 4 projects in the energy field. This year, Mawhiba will present a number of special prizes in the fields of STEM divided into 12 grants to participate in the Mawhiba global enrichment program, and 12 cash prizes, adding that its sponsorship is in the energy field. The 2021 ISEF exhibition stems from the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and its awareness of the important Saudi role as a primary source of energy in the world, and its endeavor to continue sustainable development by preserving energy sources, in addition to encouraging creative and talented students around the world to develop projects and innovations in the field of renewable and sustainable energy, and to develop knowledge, skills and experiences To develop projects that allow preserving these resources for future generations.
Mawhiba stated that these prizes that it offers to the world’s talents at the ISEF 2021 exhibition reflect its vision and mission to make innovation a sustainable way to invest in human capabilities, and to turn them into positive energies of high-quality productivity, and have an added value in the world and the future of mankind, especially as the world is witnessing a trend. There is an increase in the direction of the production of more renewable energy, with renewable energy expected to represent 40% of the planet’s energy by 2040.
It is noteworthy that the “Mawhiba” Foundation has offered special prizes at the ISEF International Science and Engineering Fair during the past ten years, totaling $ 269,000, and so far there are 79 awards won by students from 20 countries.
The Regenern International Science and Engineering Fair “ISEF 2021” is being held virtually in the United States of America, with the participation of more than 1,800 students from more than 75 countries. The Kingdom is competing for its grand prizes with 30 scientific projects for 30 students from various educational departments, representing the participating Saudi national team.
The Kingdom’s participation in the “ISEF 2021” exhibition is its fifteenth in a row, since its participation began in 2007 AD. The total prizes obtained by Saudi students in the exhibition amounted to 48 major prizes and 27 special prizes, including 8 awards in 2020, including 5 awards. Major, and 3 special prizes.
