Kawasaki Frontale has strengthened its position at the top of the Japanese soccer premier league after defeating Yokohama FC 3-1 in the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday.

Kawasaki Frontale raised his score to 48 points in first place, 13 points ahead of his closest rival, Nagoya Grampus, while Yokohama FC stuck to six points in the last twentieth place.

Kawasaki took the lead in the 19th minute with a goal scored by Akihiro Inaga from a penalty kick, and then O Tanaka and Kaoru Mituma added the second and third goals for the team in the 28th and 47th minutes.

Then Yokohama FC responded with a single goal, scored by Klipper Yobe Yenheiro in the 63rd minute.

Sagan Tosu also strengthened its position in third place after defeating Kashima Antlers 2/1, while Consadole Sapporo defeated Shimizu S Pulse 2/0 and Vegalta Sendai beat Oita Trinita 2/1.

Sagan Tosu raised his score to 31 points in third place, four points ahead of Yokohama Marinos, fourth-placed, while Antlers stuck at 24 points in sixth place.

Kashima Antlers took the lead by Utah Matsumura in the 14th minute, then Sajan Tosu decided the match in his favor with two goals scored by Keita Yamashita and Yota Higuchi in the 50th and 78th minutes.

As for Consadole Sapporo, they beat Shimizu S Pulse with two straight goals scored by Anderson Lopez and Takoru Kaneko in the 51st and 55th minutes, and Min-Tae Kim was kicked out of the team in the fourth minute of the stoppage time of the match.

Consadole Sapporo raised its score to 18 points in eleventh place, while Shimizu S Plus stuck to 12 points in sixteenth place.
