Iraq imposes a comprehensive curfew for 10 days due to the Corona virus

Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi government decided to impose a comprehensive curfew for ten days, from 12 to 22 May.

The Cabinet approved the recommendation of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety to impose a comprehensive curfew in the country for a period of 10 days, to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic, and to apply preventive measures through social distancing and other preventive conditions, especially after the Ministry of Health recently recorded a significant increase in the number of injuries in The whole country, according to a government statement.

The curfew decision includes closing malls, restaurants, cafeterias, cafes, cinemas, parks, event halls, weddings, swimming pools, sports halls, etc., as well as prohibiting the establishment of human gatherings in all their forms.

Iraq tops the list of Arab countries as the country with the most recorded infections and deaths with Corona virus.
