FilGoal | News | Sun Downs player: To beat Al-Ahly, “which is wonderful technically and strategically,” we must be at the top of our level

Mamelodi Sun Downs player Peter Chalouli believes that beating Al-Ahly requires that all players be at the top of their level.

Al-Ahly will face Mamelodi Sun Downs tomorrow night, Saturday, in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals.

“We will play against very great players, technically and strategically,” Peter Chalouli said in statements to the official Sun Downs website. “But on the other hand, we are fully preparing for this confrontation.”

The Namibian striker added, “The first leg against Al-Ahly is very important for us, to be more comfortable home.”

Shalouli continued, “To achieve this, we must all be at our highest level on the day of the match.”

The 27-year-old has completed, “It is important for us to win the second star. We will have achieved one of the dreams of all players, because we all dream of achieving this title. This is not achieved every day in life.”

Peter Shallowy joined Mamelodi Sun Downs this season from Highland Park.

Shalouli participated this season in 34 matches in various tournaments. He scored 18 goals and scored 8 others.
