EgyptAir announced to travelers to Saudi Arabia, through its airlines, the conditions and procedures necessary to enter the Kingdom, based on the instructions issued by the Saudi Ministry of Health. This included conducting 3 checks for Corona and undergoing an institutional quarantine for a period of 7 days, the value of which is to be paid before the travel procedures are completed. Some groups are excluded from these instructions, including male and female citizens, citizen’s wife, citizen husband, accompanying domestic workers, health practitioners, and diplomats.
Perform a PCR examination for those over 8 years before travel 72 hours, with the exception of Saudi citizens.- Undergo an institutional quarantine for a period of 7 days and perform two PCR examinations, the first upon arrival and the second after 6 days in the institutional quarantine.
– All passengers who are subject to the rules of institutional quarantine must pay the value of the institutional quarantine before traveling through the EgyptAir sales offices or the EgyptAir Customer Service Center 1717 by issuing an EMD voucher, which will have to be presented upon completion of travel procedures.
– Citizens, male and female citizens, the citizen’s wife, the husband of a citizen, the sons and daughters of citizenship and the domestic workers accompanying any of the aforementioned groups (provided that the non-immunized, including the home quarantine, is applied for a period of 7 days, and that a PCR examination is performed for them at the end of the quarantine period, starting from the sixth day with the application of Precautionary measures determined by the Ministry of Health).Official delegations who hold diplomatic visas, diplomats and their resident families, provided that quarantine procedures are applied in their homes as approved by the Ministry of Health.
A health practitioner who belongs to a government sector is exempt from institutional quarantine, while their families and health practitioners working in the private sector must obtain institutional quarantine.
A health practitioner who belongs to a government sector and their families under the age of 18 are exempt from institutional quarantine, provided that it is home quarantine.
The health practitioner and their families who work in the private sector and those immunized according to the Tawakolna application are exempt from institutional quarantine.
The health practitioner and their families who work in the private sector and have completed 14 days since receiving the full doses of the Corona vaccine outside the Kingdom with one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom (two doses of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine or two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine or two doses of the Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson vaccine) With the submission of proof of this according to the requirements set by the Ministry of Health.
All those under the age of eight are excluded from performing the two PCR examinations for those coming from outside the Kingdom.
