Date: May 09, 2021 Bigman Gharbani, Director of Technology Solutions Products at Advanced Media Trading, the local distributor of drones for DJI, said that DJI plans to soon open a customer experience center for DJI products on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. This came on the sidelines of a conference in Dubai to reveal the launch
The DJI Air 2S flying camera in the UAE sets a new standard in high-quality flight performance and stunning visuals. It includes flight modes and shooting modes that are the most accurate of any drone of its size.
The Ministry of Interior provides for drones amateurs with the UAE Drone Fly Zone Map application, which identifies via mobile phones the areas in which unmanned aircraft are permitted or prohibited, in order to ensure the safety of air traffic, and to preserve the security of civil aviation in the country.
The new drone features the MasterShots option, which enables it to independently fly the drone for the flight path, and choose from three different image capture modes, including: Proximity, Portrait or Landscape. The aircraft will automatically start recording classic aerial shots.
During the conference, Ghorbani expressed his pride in launching the latest DJI innovations and introducing advanced drone technology directly to content creators, drone enthusiasts and travelers across the Emirates, noting that the Air 2S offers more advanced features, including a full-frame sensor and an advanced artificial intelligence system. Plus the new Drone is compatible with Motion Control and FPV Goggles. It is a low-cost yet powerful drone, suitable for content creators who seek to shoot cinematic footage with ease.
The DJI Air 2S is the first drone of this size to capture 20-megapixel still photos or 5.4K videos with a new 1-inch sensor that was previously available only on larger and heavier aircraft. DJI continues to enable easy creation of stunning content with the new MasterShots feature, which is used to automatically map the plane’s path during video recording. And upon completion of the flight, DJI Air 2S automatically merges the shots under a single subject to create an engaging and stunning video.
A maximum flight time of 31 minutes on the DJI Air 2S drone and 4-way obstacle sensors allow the person in control to focus on shooting, while the aircraft’s safety systems warn him when approaching obstacles. APAS 4.0 is the most advanced autopilot system of any DJI drone, and when switched on, it seamlessly maneuvers automatically around obstacles. DJI’s OcuSync 3rd Edition O3 provides the most reliable transport technology in the drone market for this portable, foldable aircraft to reassure users that their connection is stable. The upgraded FocusTrack mode includes a set of programmed modes such as Spotlight 2.0, ActiveTrack 4.0, and Point of Interest 3.0 that easily simulate the focus, control, and movement of a professional videographer.
The user can get closer to the subject without moving the drone, using the new digital zoom feature that enables him to zoom 4 times more in 4K at 30 frames per second, 6 times more with a resolution of 2.7K at a rate of 30 frames per second, and 4 times more with a resolution of 2.7K At a rate of 60 frames per second, 6 times more at 1080p and 60 frames per second, and 8 times more at 1080p and 30 frames per second. DJI’s famous three-axis mechanical axis stabilizes the shots for professional quality, and the aircraft is equipped with 8GB of internal storage space. Users can choose to shoot at H264 or H265 according to their preferences to get the details of the image and the storage capacity suitable for them, and they can also choose between three color files for the video, which are: Normal (8 bit), D-Log (10 bit) or HLG (10 bit) that matches the needs of The video they have.
The DJI Air 2S is equipped with four high-quality antennas and the latest version of DJI’s OcuSync transmission technology, in addition to O3 to provide stable broadcasting over a maximum distance of 12 km even in high-signal areas. A maximum of 31 minutes of shooting in the air gives pilots more time to shoot visually attractive shots, while the 4-way sensors help reduce collision risk. Newly upgraded front, rear, bottom and top obstacle sensors include dual zoom technology to recognize incoming objects from afar more quickly.
The DJI Air 2S uses the latest and most advanced version of the Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS) 4.0, which allows the drone to independently and smoothly maneuver around, under and over obstacles. In flight at normal speeds, the newly improved APAS 4.0 system provides a wider field of view for obstacle detection compared to previous versions. If the pilot is flying at higher speeds, the plane will be angled more forward and the newly added higher obstacle sensor will play an important role in obstacle detection.
As with DJI’s latest drones, the DJI Air 2S’s AirSense system alerts the drone’s control from nearby planes and helicopters transmitting ADS-B signals, so the aircraft is quickly transported to a safer location. Other standard DJI safety features on the DJI Air 2S include an enhanced return to launch (RTH) feature, which can return the drone to the launch point if it loses contact with the controller or reaches a very low battery level, and GEO 2.0 offers GPS. Advice to those who control the aircraft about sensitive sites and help them to move away automatically from high-risk areas such as airports.
The DJI Air 2S drone is available in “Advanced Media Trading” showrooms and online at a price of 3,849 dirhams for the standard set that includes the drone, a remote control, one battery, all cables and parts necessary for its flight, in addition to the Fly More package at 5,149 dirhams, which includes everything from Of the standard set and two additional batteries, for a total of 3 batteries, in addition to ND filters, a charging pad and a shoulder bag.
