Speaking to Car Magazine, Hallmark emphasized that 2025 is the right time to launch an SUV. Hallmark did not reveal many details about the expected car, but he said that “the first electric car produced by Bentley will be based on the Artemis platform of the Volkswagen Group, led by Audi engineers, and this car will be just the beginning of a series of zero-emissions vehicles.”
In 2020, Markus Duisman, CEO of Audi, said, “The platform will be ready by early 2024. Hallmark’s comments indicate that Bentley will be one of the first brands to benefit from the platform.”
Meanwhile, wealthy consumers expect to see more electric cars in Bentley’s lineup. Last year, the company announced that it would launch a number of other hybrid vehicles by 2023, and the company wanted to supply its entire range with electricity. Shortly thereafter, it would launch the first All-electric car.
