Tom Cruise, the famous American actor, has returned the Golden Globe Awards to the Society of Foreign Journalists that she oversees.

“CNN” quoted sources close to the actor, saying that he was angry at the lack of diversity in the jury from representatives of the American community.

In winter, the media reported the total absence of black journalists on the award jury, which consists of 87 journalists. Then the organizers promised to fix the situation and “make the necessary changes.”

Earlier, NBC, which broadcast the Golden Globe, said it would not do so next year because the jury did not adequately reflect the diversity of American society. Meanwhile, TV workers have indicated they will be ready to broadcast in 2023, should the jury change.

The Golden Globe Award has been awarded annually since 1944. Founded by the Hollywood Foreign Certified Journalists Association. The award is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the world of cinema, along with the Oscar.

It is reported that Tom Cruise won the Golden Globes three times in his career. Cruz won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in “Jerry Maguire” in 1997 and “Born on the Fourth of July” in 1990, and the Best Supporting Actor award for the movie “Magnolia” in 2000.
