Will Hilal be able to get out of that dilemma successfully?

Press reports confirmed that Al Hilal Saudi Club is close to making and announcing a decisive decision in the coming hours, which may put it in trouble before confronting the youth in the league.

Al-Hilal prepares to face Al-Shabab next Friday, in the 26th round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Saudi Professional Cup League, after the end of the group stage competitions in the AFC Champions League.

Al-Hilal managed to climb hard to the round of 16 in the AFC Champions League, where it was about to exit, had it not been for the Saudi Al-Ahly draw against Al-Duhail, Qatar, and the leader would rise among the three teams with the best second position.

What is the decision Al Hilal decisive?

The Saudi newspaper “Okaz” confirmed that the management of Al-Hilal club is preparing to announce in the coming hours the decision to dismiss the Brazilian coach Rogiero Micali, the team’s technical director.

Al-Hilal’s decision came because of the poor results that he provided with the team in the AFC Champions League, which would have cost him the exit from the tournament, had it not been for Al-Ahly’s tie with Al-Duhail.

This came after Al Hilal lost the last match in the group stage at the hands of UAE youth Al Ahly Dubai with two goals without a response, to make the team climb with great difficulty to the round of 16.

How did Hilal put itself in trouble?

Although the decision may please a large segment of Al Hilal fans, the team will be in trouble, due to lack of time before the very important youth confrontation, within the two teams’ race to remain at the top of the Saudi League standings.

Al-Hilal management is currently looking for a coach to lead the team, to succeed Mikali, despite the lack of time before facing Al-Shabab next Friday, which will be very difficult.

Who are the candidates to succeed Micali?

There are many names that have been raised during the past days to take over the task of coaching the team to succeed the Brazilian Micali, most notably Sami Al-Jaber, the club’s president and former coach.

Some press reports also indicated that Al Hilal is negotiating with Jose Moraes, in order to succeed Micali in the team’s training, and also talk about his compatriot Jorge Jesus, the current Benfica coach.

What is the position of the Crescent League?

Al Hilal is tied with its youth counterpart at the top of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Saudi Professional Cup League teams, with 48 points, two points ahead of the second-placed Al-Ittihad.

The confrontation of Hilal against Al-Shabab is very crucial for the team that will remain at the top of the standings, especially since the league has 5 matches left for each team.
